ABOUT

Welcome to Magnum 2000 Inc.

Magnum 2000 Inc. is an industry leader in the manufacture of ready-to-assemble precision machined components for critical vehicle systems across North America. With a legacy of excellence and a commitment to innovative solutions, we offer turn-key, contract manufacturing services by employing advanced technology, innovative tooling, and robust quality control systems.

Our journey began in 1981 when Joe and Mary Skupnik purchased Mary’s father’s machine shop in Toronto. The newly married couple decided to pivot the business towards high volume machining, founding Magnum Screw Products. Over the decades, consistent growth and a reputation for quality transformed our company into what is now known as Magnum 2000 Inc.

In 2024, Magnum 2000 Inc. was proudly acquired by long-term General Manager Greg Hyslop. Our dedication to introducing industry-leading technology and developing innovative tooling has kept us competitive for over 40 years.

The 1990s marked a time of considerable investment and expansion for Magnum 2000 Inc. By supplying more automotive customers and investing in advanced equipment like HYDROMAT rotary transfer machines and EUROTURN multi-spindle turning machines, the company was able to produce complex parts without secondary operations. Magnum 2000 Inc. recognized the potential of this advanced machinery and became the leading user of such equipment in Canada.
1990’s
During the 2000s, Magnum 2000 Inc. experienced significant growth, securing more business across the US and Canada from automotive clients. To support this expansion, the company implemented a robust quality management system (TS 16949) and enterprise software to efficiently manage all aspects of the business. Additionally, more sophisticated equipment, such as multi-station CNC machines (Buffoli, W&G, Gildemeister), was introduced to meet evolving demands.
